22 Ha of vineyards surround the castle. We cultivate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines on the sunny slopes of the Haspengouw region. Many international Grand Gold and Gold medals since 25 years have proven the magnificent unique terroir of marl and loam in a balanced microclimate.

Cavahuis Freixenet zet personeel thuis wegens uitzonderlijk extreme droogte
De Catalaanse cavamaker Freixenet heeft wegens de grote droogte die Spanje teistert een soort tijdelijke werkloosheidsregeling wegens overmacht aangevraagd voor mogelijk 615 werknemers. Dat meldde onder meer de Spaanse krant La Vanguardia maandag.
